Recovery
After your cosmetic or reconstructive breast surgery at the Toronto Cosmetic Surgery Institute, you’ll need to recover as is the case with any surgery. You should expect to feel some discomfort and swelling, as well as bruising. These are common for all patients to varying degrees. These side effects are considered temporary and you should expect to experience them for about a week or more depending on your body and procedure. Take comfort in the fact that they will disappear eventually, and as soon as they do, you’ll be able to see the best results of your surgery.
Dr. Jugenburg performs breast surgery routinely, whether it is for reconstructive purposes or cosmetic, specifically augmentation and mastopexy. He applies only advanced surgical techniques which minimize discomfort and scarring, and you’ll experience them at a lesser degree than if less sophisticated methods were applied.
